LAAAA, taught myself how to crochet in a matter of a month, quite a feat if I do say so myself. Learned the basics in no time and was reading patterns and making things up on my own in a few short weeks. I'm very proud of myself. XD

I thank ~su-i-cide-kid for the inspiration to start crocheting. The doll she made for me in a trade really made me want to try it out, and I'm glad I did!!! XD



SOOOOO from January to the beginning of June I was still FAR from wanting to ever crochet, but like I said above, I was persuaded by someone! lol

June: I bought my first hook and my first ball of yarn and went to town, learning about crochet and all the stitches
July: TAKOCHU!!!! 'Tako' meaning 'Octo' in Japanese and 'Chu' is (in Japanese) the sound you make when you give someone a kiss! This is also *Talty's favorite! lol
August: Soot sprites, I was on a Ghibli kick XD
September: Baby blanket for a friend that had her son that month.
October: Gearing up for my first craft show (Hullabaloo) with these ice cream crochet key chains!
November: made this hat right before the show, no deviation of it yet x.x
December: For a great friend of mine in Japan who is also an Air Force wife. There is also no deviation of this yet... XD

There were a lot more deviations from this year, but these were my favorites or had some other special meaning. Thanks to all my friends for making 2011 so awesome. ^^ <3
